My name is Jon Junge and I'm the owner of Morton Meadows Lawn Care.

Morton Meadows Lawn Care started in the Fall of 2014, but my love for lawn care started long before that.  My Grandpa had a part time lawn and landscape business and I started helping him when I was about 10 years old.  Grandpa did the mowing and I did the trimming.  Those were the days when trimming was done with a hand sheers.

Weekends were spent helping Dad and Grandpa with many different Jobs.  Power raking, trimming bushes, cutting trees down, and planting trees to mention a few.  Grandpa turned one of his lawns over to me when I was about 12.  My lawn care business grew from there through college and beyond.  

 

I owe a lot to Dad and Grandpa for the opportunities they gave me, and the work ethic they instilled in me.  There was no stopping until the job was done and everything had to be perfect.

I was away from lawn care for about 20 years as I pursued my career in Transportation and Logistics, but always had that urge to start again.  I decided it was time to return to my roots.  It was time to re-live some of those fond memories I had with my Dad and Grandpa when I was a young boy and start a lawn care business.
